EDUCATOR'S GUIDE

Everyday tens of thousands of us jump on airplanes and in less than 24 hours we arrive to the other side of the Earth. Never before have our cultures and religions mixed so effortlessly.

For teachers and students, it is crucial to have an international perspective and a basic understanding of the diversity that is all around us. This resource is intended to present Muslim perspectives on a variety of topics addressed in middle school and high school courses.

Each video in the 13-part animated series addresses one of the frequently asked questions Muslims typically receive about their religion and identity. Sometimes these questions are about religious beliefs and practices. Sometimes the questions address family, social and political issues.

Mujeeb and Steve uses humor and story to breakdown barriers over sensitive cultural, racial and religious issues. The intent is to provide viewers with an accessible and easy way to become better informed about Muslims who make up about 1/5 of the world’s population.
